Considerado um dos melhores produtores nacionais de Drum’n’Bass, e depois de ter a oportunidade de ver o seu tema “Night Vision” ser editado pela SYSTEM SHOCK Recordings, nada melhor do que uma festa para celebrar este grande passo de DJ ODER.
O local escolhido foi o GARE club, já conhecido entre os drummers e palco de festas memoráveis. Os artistas presentes na área do Drum’n’Bass foram CALLIDE e DJ ODER, que representaram, assim, a label britânica SSR, NUNO FORTE e SURFACE; com o Dubstep ficaram encarregues ORIGINAL PRESSURE e BASIC MANUVERS (DJ Scape & Basic). Na segunda área contamos com o Reggae: XIBATA, AEROSOUL, ONTEM e BURNING Sound System.
O anunciar do cartaz provocou nos ravers entusiasmo e, se se previa que o local iria encher, não se contava que algum do público ficasse do lado de fora pelo facto de o espaço estar lotado.
A festa começou por volta da meia-noite. Na área principal, os escolhidos para a sua abertura foram os portugueses ORIGINAL PRESSURE com Dubstep. Apesar do espaço ainda se descobrir com um público reduzido, o seu som mantinha-se cativante e era notório o desfrutar deste por parte de quem aí se encontrava. Ainda neste âmbito, seguiram-se os BASIC MANUVERS. Aquando da sua actuação o espaço já se encontrava mais recheado e o seu som fazia com que esta área continuasse a permanecer atractiva.
SURFACE fazia a área ir noutra direcção, passando para o Drum’n’Bass. O seu set foi repleto de energia e já se sentiam o calor e alguns moches na parte da frente. Seguidamente tivemos DJ ODER, e pode-se afirmar que o seu desempenho foi, de facto, merecedor do respeito do qual foi alvo – os comentários positivos começavam a fazer-se ouvir. Já conhecido entre os drummers, CALLIDE, foi alvo de admiração e despoletador de elogios. Os comentários de que já se sentia saudades de uma festa com um “bom Jump up”, que fizesse lembrar as antigas, iam surgindo.
Por fim tivemos a actuação de NUNO FORTE, com um set com bastante garra que deixou os drummers sem fôlego. Algum do público mais experiente afirmava que este Dj faz falta em mais festas aqui pelo Porto.
Para além de bom som, durante a noite, o que também não pode faltar foram alguns clássicos do Drum’n’Bass. Algumas mãos no ar e sorrisos de satisfação eram evidentes.
Falando agora um pouco da segunda área, o Reggae teve grande adesão, mantendo sempre o espaço repleto e com bom ambiente. Numa festa com qualidade não podia faltar uma diversidade de sons tão cativantes.
A festa acabou eram 7h. O ambiente foi marcado por uma grande diversidade de gente e, ao longo de toda a festa, foi possível encontrar caras familiares. O espaço manteve-se repleto durante grande parte da noite. Ao chegar às 7h alguns drummers ainda tinham energias e continuavam a “batalhar”. Comentava-se que o som estava um pouco alto de mais mas, à parte disso, os comentários foram, decididamente, de muito boa festa. Nas palavras de algum público “ foi Festão!”. | |
